In the dairy arena Povltavské Mlékárny has launched a brand new snack under its Tartare brank, Snack Cheese & Sticks. Packaged white line board with a tuck-in lock the product retails at $0.61 and is launched onto the market this month. The package contains a fermented cheese and bread sticks with Sesame seeds, that is aimed at the instant snacks market. Overall the product contains 100 grams of cheese and 10 grams of bread sticks.

Meanwhile Pribina dairy company is relaunching the Jaodovy Strawberry Cream yoghurt under the Pribinacek brand. Aimed at the luxury end of the market the product has a high cream content which is said to give it a rich texture. It comes in 80 gram tubs which have been newly designed and retails at €0.27. The yoghurt combines cream and curd and the company says it is a preservative free source of health food from the Posazaui region. It also comes in vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate varieties.

Moving on to the confectionery sector Kraft Foods is making yet another launch under its Cote d'Or brand - Sensations Lait Chocolate Bar. The luxury chocolate comes packaged in lined white board and foil and features a sumptuous design illustrating the chocolate. Retailing at €2.13 for a 100 gram, the bar contains a crunchy praline milk chocolate filled with almond nougat and pieces of caramel. It comes in both almond and caramel varieties and is imported from Switzerland.

On to biscuits and Loacker is launching a new line of dark chocolate wafers. Packaged in flexible multi laminate wrapping, the 118 gram box will retail at €1.43 when it is launched this month. Again aimed at the luxury end of the market, the product is being marketed on the strength that it is free of colourings and preservatives. The pack contains fine wafers coated with plain chocolate and cocoa cream and is imported by Ed Haas of Czech Republic.
