NOMO triumphs at Free From Christmas awards with chocolate stocking fillers

Vegan and free-from chocolate brand, NOMO, claimed a handful of gongs at the Free From Christmas Awards 2022.

This year’s awards saw NOMO named Large Independent Brand for the second year running, while the Cookie Dough Reindeer and Caramel Advent Calendar made headlines, both scoring golds in the Stocking Filler and Advent Calendar categories respectively.

The brand’s Cookie Dough Drops Box, a new addition to the Christmas line up, also secured a silver award.

As the UK’s only awards for free-from food and drink, the prestigious Free From Christmas Awards is designed to celebrate free-from festive products.

The NOMO Christmas range that has become a festive free from staple for many with the brands Christmas sales growing by 90.4% in 2021, compared to the market growth in free from chocolate at Christmas of 38.4%.

Commenting on the gold-winning caramel advent calendar, the judges said “this feels really special, love the packaging, really vibrant & festive. The chocolates are individually wrapped making it extra safe, inside pretty tear-drop shaped doors which open easily​.”

The category-topping Cookie Dough Reindeer took the No. 1 spot in the Stocking Filler category for “rapidly becoming a seasonal favourite - a really lovely festive treat that doesn’t mimic anything else out there. A unique treat that ticks all the major allergen boxes​”.
