The biennial Cocoa Association of Asia (CAA) International Cocoa Conference is set to return to Singapore on 12 to 13 September 2024, bringing together more than 600 senior business leaders, key stakeholders, decision-makers, and thought leaders from the global cocoa and chocolate industry.

Under the banner ‘A Confluence of Positive Change,’ Asia’s premier cocoa conference offers unparalleled opportunities for engagement and networking within the cocoa community over two days with its conference, exhibition, and gala dinner.

The CAA said the conference aims to ignite dialogue and foster collaboration towards a sustainable and prosperous future for the cocoa and chocolate sector.

Elie Fouché, Chairman of the Cocoa Association of Asia, commented: “Our industry is facing tremendous challenges, with record high cocoa prices, disruption in bean supply, and transformational regulations coming into application. In these unprecedented times, it is more crucial than ever to come together and collaborate.

“As we convene once again at the CAA International Cocoa Conference with the theme, 'A Confluence of Positive Change,' there's a strong need for collective action in overcoming challenges and shaping the future of Asia's cocoa industry."

Since its inception in 2017, the CAA International Cocoa Conference has become a pivotal forum for open discussion and networking within the cocoa and chocolate industry. The 2022 edition attracted over 500 delegates from 40 countries, featuring key speakers and panellists.

Scheduled once every two years, the event will be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore. It will include three plenary sessions, exclusive masterclasses, an exhibition, and the inaugural Farmers’ Network Forum. In this first-of-its-kind forum, farmers from around the globe come together and discuss the impact of global policies and uplifting sustainable cocoa farming methods.
