Italian chocolate maker Ferrero's ongoing battle with copycat
products in China is hindering its growth in the booming market,
and continues to erode the brand's value, says the company.
Italian confectioner Ferrero has won its battle against Chinese
counterfeiters who have been producing copycat versions of its
products for the Asian market.
Italian confectioner Ferrero has become the first company to
persuade Aldi to abandon its hard discount strategy, signing a deal
to supply the world's biggest discount supermarket chain with seven
of its chocolate brands.
