Lotte Confectionery Hi John & Farm on the Road flavors (South Korea)
Korean confectioner Lotte has introduced crackers under its ‘Hi John’ brand containing Greek yoghurt and two kinds of lactic acid bacteria that it says are recognized as probiotics. The company has also added green tea cookies and a cheese tart variant to its ‘Farm on the Road’ brand. It says the ‘Farm on the Road’ range generated 200bn won ($174m) in revenues last year with sales projected to grow another 25bn won ($22m) this year.
