Butterfinger Investigators launch nationwide search for Halloween candy ‘thieves’

Ferrero-owned candy brand Butterfinger is reintroducing its ‘investigation unit’ to track down ‘guilty’ fans accused of ‘swiping the crispety, crunchety, peanut-buttery, irresistible candy bar’ from friends and family this Halloween.

The Butterfinger Investigators will be offering a $25,000 prize. To enter the 'Turn Yourself In' sweepstakes promotion, sticky-fingered Butterfinger thieves must register at www.Butterfingercasefiles.com and upload a 'mugshot' (selfie) photo using one of the custom five mugshot templates and interactive stickers showcasing their Halloween spirit.

"We are excited to bring back the Turn Yourself In promotion for a second year in a row​," said Miguel Zorrilla, Senior Marketing director, Butterfinger. "The world of the Butterfinger Investigators has been really resonating with our passionate fans. How to ‘Turn Yourself In’  to the BFI for a Chance to Win:

  • Go to www.Butterfingercasefiles.com and complete the registration form and submit a mugshot (selfie) for entrance to the sweepstakes.
