Nestlé USA: Sustainable cocoa and Crunch SKUs
Nestlé’s entire 2015 Easter chocolate collection will be produced using sustainable cocoa. The firm said 80% of consumers prefer to purchase chocolate that contains sustainable cocoa if products are easy to find and don’t cost more. The firm has focused on innovating new SKUs for its Crunch brand after forming a partnership with comic strip publisher Peanuts, which is behind the Charlie Brown and Snoopy characters. Under the Crunch umbrella, the company has introduced a shaped chocolate novelty in the form of children’s character Snoopy. The 4 oz character confection will retail for around $3.49. Also new for Crunch are Creamy Caramel NestEggs and Shareable Medallions.
