Pathogens suspected in cheese
August - Germany: Fromagerie de Hyelzas has recalled some cheeses due to suspicion of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella and E.coli.
The raw sheep milk cheese affected is Rocketou and Pérail Tradition with identification mark FR 48074011 CE lot number: 15.203.2 and best before dates of 31.8.2015, 2.9.2015, 7.9.2015.
Consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume and return to the place of purchase.
According to the RASFF portal, cheese from France was distributed to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and UAE.
